Micromax has again silently launched the Micromax A113 also called the Canvas Ego a quad core handset with a smaller screen of 4.69 inches. This handset is listed on Snapdeal for Rs. 12,999.
The specifications seem similar to the Micromax Canvas HD or the Micromax A116. The Micromax A113 is powered by MT6589 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with PowerVR SGX 544 MP GPU. It runs on the Android 4.1 OS with dual SIM support.
RAM is 1GB and internal storage is 4GB. Micro SD card of up to 32GB is supported. The screen resolution is not mentioned but for the price of approx Rs. 12K it should be with HD resolution – 1280×720 pixels.
Just like the A116 the A113 also come with 8MP rear auto focus camera and a front camera too. The specifications as mentioned on the Snapdeal site are not clear and some of it might not be true. For example they have mentioned 8MP camera with no HD recording , which is not possible unless Micromax has used some other chipset but then the price cannot be justified.
