Samsung Galaxy Round with flexible display to be announced soon

Samsung will soon launch mobiles with flexible display new technology a.k.a. Galaxy Round, it is officially confirmed that they will showcase a 5.7 inch flexible screen with few days. Samsung also confirmed that they will soon launch a phone with flexi display.

The flexible OLED display is made of plastic and can be bend (curved) to a certain extent. The Galaxy Round technology will give designers new areas to work with. There are still a lot of limitations especially when it comes to anything other than the flexible OLED display; in simple words the other components are not flexible.

The display area could now be extended to the edges, curved along the sides. This flexible screen technology could also revive the flip type design that seems outdated today. Rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy round could come up with same features as found on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but without stylus (S-Pen) support. It will be android powered, probably with smaller curved (flexible) display less than 5 inches with lower (HD) resolution.

Well that’s it for now, we will have to wait and see what comes up, next.

As its name suggests, this version of the tablet is primarily intended to be used in the kitchen.

It connects to the tablet in Bluetooth and measures the cooking, while also functioning as an independent timer.

The Xperia Tablet Z Kitchen Edition is announced at a cost of $650, higher than the standard version, for its proposed $600 fee. However, the iGrill thermometer alone is worth $80, which allows a small economy by buying the tablet equipped with all cooking applications and accessories.

Rumor:

If @evleaks are to be believed the new model will be called Glee a.k.a Nokia Lumia 525, a successor to the most popular Windows phone the Nokia Lumia 520. Incidentally the Lumia 520 was very popular in India, specially for its price tag. 520 not only helped Nokia regain its brand image but also made Windows OS as the second most popular OS in India.

If you may recall the Nokia 520 was priced under Rs. 10,000. The new version i.e. 525 will take over from where 520 left and probably we could find some new features and hopefully with an affordable budget. Stay tuned for more.

Is Micromax Rolling out Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade for Canvas series?

14:06 Posted by Sumaiya , No comments
There was news about Micromax testing Jelly Bean 4.3 on Canvas handset and now another tweet by MMXNewscaster says its finally out. We are not sure how far the news is true but if this be the case it will get the Micromax users smiling.

Gone are the days when you would find only big brands rolling out regular updates, but now Micromax and other brands have realized the after sales value specially the updates and upgrades that will not only keep the customers happy but also built up brand loyalty.

As per the MMXNewscaster Tweet, Micromax Jelly bean version 4.3 will be rolled out on Micromax Canvas 4, Micromax Canvas HD also called Micromax A116 and the Micromax canvas doodle 2 (MMX A240). Probably some more devices will also be included later on.

It is highly unlikely that the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade will be rolled out on low end models and might not get included on some initial canvas versions. So those who are not using a canvas series phone or using an initial versions they probably might not get the 4.3 upgrade.

Android 4.3 is the latest OS that comes loaded on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This OS may not be compatible with older hardware’s. Let’s wait and watch if any of you have got the update done, feel free to comment below.

Thank you for the tip Sivakumar Mayuranathiah.
