Download all Flash Games easily with this Trick

23:43 Posted by Sumaiya , No comments
Hello. Today I am going to show you an easy way on how to download games from

miniclip.com

and other flash sites. You only need an internet browser(any). So , let's get started.

First go to miniclip.com and choose a the game you want to download. For this tutorial, I chose Monster Trucks Nitro 2
Once you are on the game page, right click on the page(somewhere empty) and click view page source
A window will pop up showing the source of the page. Press CTRL+F and a "Find" box will pop up. Type .swf and then press Search. BOOM! You just found the filename of the flash game! In my example, the filename is mtn2.swf
Now put the filename of the flash game at the end of the URL as I did in the picture and press enter.like this
http://www.miniclip.com/games/monster-trucks-nitro-2/en/mtn2.swf
You will now see that the game loads in Full Screen. Now,to download the game, just open your favorite download manager and copy the whole link in. In my example the link is
http://www.miniclip.com/games/monstertr...n/mtn2.swf .As you can see in the picture I use DownThemAll (Addon for Firefox)
Now, once you download your game, you will be able to play it by simply creating a new tab in your browser and then moving the game file in it.
This trick works in almost all flash game sites.

Samsung Galaxy Round with flexible display to be announced soon

Samsung will soon launch mobiles with flexible display new technology a.k.a. Galaxy Round, it is officially confirmed that they will showcase a 5.7 inch flexible screen with few days. Samsung also confirmed that they will soon launch a phone with flexi display.

The flexible OLED display is made of plastic and can be bend (curved) to a certain extent. The Galaxy Round technology will give designers new areas to work with. There are still a lot of limitations especially when it comes to anything other than the flexible OLED display; in simple words the other components are not flexible.

The display area could now be extended to the edges, curved along the sides. This flexible screen technology could also revive the flip type design that seems outdated today. Rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy round could come up with same features as found on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but without stylus (S-Pen) support. It will be android powered, probably with smaller curved (flexible) display less than 5 inches with lower (HD) resolution.

Well that’s it for now, we will have to wait and see what comes up, next.

SONY LAUNCHES XPERIA TABLET Z KITCHEN EDITION

15:11 Posted by Sam , , , No comments
Sony recently unveiled a special version of its tablet Xperia Tablet Z, for use in the kitchen. A device that has not yet been announced in Europe.

The tablet Xperia Tablet Z original proposed by Sony already has the distinction of being waterproof upto 1 meter for 30 minutes: a feature that is found in the Kitchen Edition that was unveiled a few days ago by the Japanese manufacturer. As its name suggests, this version of the tablet is primarily intended to be used in the kitchen.

The Xperia Tablet Z Kitchen Edition is also waterproof up to 1 meter and up to 30 minutes of immersion, and resistant to dust, which allows use of flour and other ingredients of the same type smoothly. It has an LCD touch screen of 10.1-inch displays and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, includes a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor Pro APQ8064 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 32 GB of space storage, a microSD slot and NFC. The tablet is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The model is similar to that already proposed in the trade: what really distinguishes this Kitchen Edition of the basic model is the presence of preloaded applications dedicated to the kitchen - BigOven, Evernote Food, etc - but also a support for the tablet, and a thermometer iGrill. It connects to the tablet in Bluetooth and measures the cooking, while also functioning as an independent timer.

The Xperia Tablet Z Kitchen Edition is announced at a cost of $650, higher than the standard version, for its proposed $600 fee. However, the iGrill thermometer alone is worth $80, which allows a small economy by buying the tablet equipped with all cooking applications and accessories.

14:26 Posted by Sumaiya , , , No comments

Rumor:
Nokia Mobiles could probably unveil the Nokia Lumia 525 codenamed Glee and upgraded version of Lumia 520, this October at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. This info is still a rumor and was leaked by @evleaks.

If @evleaks are to be believed the new model will be called Glee a.k.a Nokia Lumia 525, a successor to the most popular Windows phone the Nokia Lumia 520. Incidentally the Lumia 520 was very popular in India, specially for its price tag. 520 not only helped Nokia regain its brand image but also made Windows OS as the second most popular OS in India.

If you may recall the Nokia 520 was priced under Rs. 10,000. The new version i.e. 525 will take over from where 520 left and probably we could find some new features and hopefully with an affordable budget. Stay tuned for more.

Is Micromax Rolling out Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade for Canvas series?

14:06 Posted by Sumaiya , No comments
There was news about Micromax testing Jelly Bean 4.3 on Canvas handset and now another tweet by MMXNewscaster says its finally out. We are not sure how far the news is true but if this be the case it will get the Micromax users smiling.

Gone are the days when you would find only big brands rolling out regular updates, but now Micromax and other brands have realized the after sales value specially the updates and upgrades that will not only keep the customers happy but also built up brand loyalty.

As per the MMXNewscaster Tweet, Micromax Jelly bean version 4.3 will be rolled out on Micromax Canvas 4, Micromax Canvas HD also called Micromax A116 and the Micromax canvas doodle 2 (MMX A240). Probably some more devices will also be included later on.

It is highly unlikely that the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade will be rolled out on low end models and might not get included on some initial canvas versions. So those who are not using a canvas series phone or using an initial versions they probably might not get the 4.3 upgrade.

Android 4.3 is the latest OS that comes loaded on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This OS may not be compatible with older hardware’s. Let’s wait and watch if any of you have got the update done, feel free to comment below.

Thank you for the tip Sivakumar Mayuranathiah.

After months of guessing and tinkering around with rumors, Blackberry Messenger for iPhone and Android will hit the respective App Stores this week. Blackberry announced that Blackberry Messenger for Android will hit Google Play Store on September 21st starting 7AM EDT and will be compatible with any device running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Android Jelly Bean. On the other hand, BBM for iOS will be available for download on September 22nd at 12:01AM local time, and will be compatible with both iOS 6 and iOS 7.

According to Andrew Bocking, Executive Vice President for BBM at BlackBerry,
BBM is a very engaging messaging service that is simple to use, easy to personalize and has an immediacy that is necessary for mobile communications. With more than a billion Android, iOS, and BlackBerry smartphones in the market, and no dominant mobile instant messaging platform, this is absolutely the right time to bring BBM to Android and iPhone customers.

The cross-platform Blackberry Messenger (BBM) will bring a number of exciting features including BBM Chat, which allows users to get in touch with their loved ones on Android, iPhone and Blackberry. With BBM Chat, you can even share files and photos with your friends on the go. Other features include group chat, status updates, and more. Expected release date Android 4.3 for Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Note II

02:50 Posted by Sumaiya , , , No comments
Now that we finally know that Samsung started testing the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Note II. The big question is: When will Samsung update the three devices to Android 4.3. We expect that Samsung will update the Galaxy S4 in October. The Galaxy S3 is expected to be released around October end / November. We expect Samsung to update the Galaxy Note II around November end / December. Samsung probably want to give the Note III a couple of exclusive months before the Note 2 will get those features. All three the devices are expected to get more functions and the latest Touch Wiz interface.
We also can confirm that Samsung is busy to test Android 4.3 for their Galaxy Mega series.

Samsung promised to bring Android 4.3 as fast as possible.
Let’s hope everything goes according to plan.

Sony Xperia M Review by lines4we | Dual Core with NFC and Colored LED |

Sony Xperia M sports a 4 inch screen with FWVGA resolution. It supports a single SIM (micro SIM slot), runs on Android 4.1 with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. Also includes a 5MP rear AF camera, NFC and multicolored LED illumination. The handset is priced at under Rs. 13,500. Dual SIM Xperia M is also available.

Box Pack
it’s a small pack that comes loaded with the M handset, battery of 1700 mAh capacity, power adapter, data cable, earphone, SAR information booklet, SONY warranty certificate and start up / user guide.

Design, Display and OS
The handset is of a smaller size available in 4 different colors. Sony Xperia M weight is just 114 grams with battery, thickness is 9.33mm, breadth is 61.71mm and length is 123.77mm. The handset has got a unique slim design and comes with a bigger (SONY style power) button; there is volume rockers plus a dedicated camera button all of these placed on the right side. On the top there is 3.5mm audio jack and on the right side you will find the micro USB port.

There are no physically dedicated buttons on the front bottom; in fact that area is taken up by a multicolored LED that lightens up showing off various colors (check the video review). You can setup the LED light – example for incoming SMS’s you can set it to red color and for incoming call you can set it to green color. When you are viewing images using the image gallery the LED lightens up and based on the image the light color changes – if you are viewing an image with more Red color in it – the LED light goes red.
The 4 inch TFT screen supports 854×480 pixels resolution and because there is no physical navigational buttons some of the area is taken up by on-screen buttons and what you get is 782×480 pixels resolution. The color reproduction is good and touch is smooth and responsive.

This handset runs on Android 4.1.2 OS with SONY customized user interface. The Sony Xperia M comes with Light, Proximity, Accelerometer and magnetic sensors.
Memory and Storage
Of the 4GB internal storage 2GB is assigned of apps of which 1.5GB is available and of the 1GB RAM you get 512MB free. There is micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB. Unfortunately you cannot install or move apps on external storage.

Inside the Hood and Benchmark
The Xperia M is powered by dual core MSM8227 chipset (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 – Krait architecture) clocked at 972MHz. The GPU is Adreno 305.

Benchmark scores
  • Quadrant Benchmark : 4226.
  • Antutu Benchmark : 11168.
  • Vellamo Benchmark : HTML5 – 1817, Metal – 429.
  • Nenamark2 : 64.0fps.
  • Epic Citadel : 54.8fps (High Performance mode) and 42.8fps (Ultra High Quality mode).
  • Multi Touch : 5 point Multi Touch.
5MP camera and front VGA camera
Still image (long shot) looks good, but close-ups are not that sharp. I was expecting much more from the SONY brand. There is 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera. The video output (720p @ 29fps) is also okay not really that great, it seems the handset is not able to focus close-up object properly. You can click still images while the video recording is on. There are many other options including image stabilization.

Gaming
The benchmark scores especially the FPS looks really good, however you cannot install games on external storage. This means you hardly get 1.5GB of space that too on the first boot without any user apps installed, this is not enough for many high end games like MC4 etc. I tried the Dead Trigger game that no doubt worked pretty well.

Entertainment
This handset cannot play 1080p videos, in S/W mode the audio is out of sync and H/W mode doesn’t work. However 720p videos work with ease in both S/W and H/W mode.

Others
3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth worked without any issues. Got the GPS lock within 8 seconds. Sound is loud, clear and much better (no doubt its SONY). The Xperia M also comes with built in FM, NFC and DLNA. Wi-Fi signal is very strong.

1700 mAh battery
According to Sony the battery gives a talktime of up to 9 hours on 3G networks. I played Dead Trigger game on Sony Xperia M for about 16 minutes and battery level dropped by 6% the max temperature was 38 degrees.

Sony Xperia M verdict
This handset comes with some decent features, benchmark is impressive considering the hardware that it houses. The colorful LED light looks good but users might get bored pretty soon. The price of under Rs. 13,290 though seems good considering the SONY brand with NFC included, however there are some feature that are not at par like the camera output, cannot play FHD videos etc. The SONY Xperia M will not impress those who really don’t care about the brand.

Micromax A74 Canvas Fun review – XOLO A500S competitor

The Micromax Canvas Fun A74sports a 4.5 inch screen running Android 4.2 OS with 512MB RAM. This low budget handset is powered by 1.3GHz dual core processor and priced at Rs. 7,700. It competes with the XOLO A500S that also comes with the same hardware with minor (specs) changes.

Box Pack

Inside the box there is the handset, screen guard, data cable, power adapter, quality earphone, warranty booklet, 1500 mAh battery and user guide. SAR value as mentioned on the box: 0.87 W/kg@1g (head) and 1.04W/kg@1g (Body).

Design, Display and OS

The Micromax A74 weight is 144 with battery, thickness is 10.25mm, breadth is 69.32mm and length is 134.63mm. The Micromax Canvas Fun A74 is available in 3 different colors Black, Red and Blue. Handset looks great and has a curvy design. It does look like a Nokia phone on the first instance. The rear side is matte finish that makes it even more comfortable to hold.

The volume rockers are placed on the left, power button on the right and 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port on the top side. The touchscreen is 4.5 inches with resolution 854×480 pixels (16M colors). Touch is smooth and viewing angles is okay (not really that good). There are light, accelerometer and proximity sensors. This handset sails on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Memory and Storage

The Micromax A74 comes with 512MB RAM of which 220 MB is free and of the 4GB internal storage 1.27GB is assigned for apps and 1.25 for Phone Storage. There is micro SD card slot and you can install apps on external storage. I tried connecting external pendrive using OTG cable, it doesn’t work. OTG is not supported.

Performance and Benchmark

The Dual SIM (Dual Standby) A74 comes with MT6572 dual core processor (Cortex A7) coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU. The same hardware that powers the XOLO A500S.

Benchmark scores
  • Quadrant Benchmark : 3364.
  • Antutu Benchmark : 10973.
  • Vellamo Benchmark : HTML5 – 1681, Metal – 492.
  • Nenamark2 : 40.3fps.
  • Multi Touch : 3 point Multi Touch.

Camera and Entertainment

The Camera output isn’t really that good. You can check the sample images. The rear camera is 5MP fixed focus with LED flash support there is a front camera too with video call support. You can record videos in 720p resolution @ 14fps the video quality is not at all impressive.

You can play full HD videos in hardware mode only using MX player, in software mode audio video is out of sync.

Gaming

I tried the Asphalt 7 and the MC4 (Modern Combat 4). Both of these games worked pretty well. The MC4 game play was smoother as compared to what we have seen on the Xolo A500S. The games got installed on the external storage card.

Others

3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS worked without any issues. In call / Loud Speaker is loud and clear. Got the GPS lock with 40 seconds.

1500 mAh battery

The removable Li-ion battery of 1500 mAh capacity gives talktime of up to 5 hours. I used the handset for benchmark / games for approx 30 to 35 minutes and the battery level dropped to 6% and temp rose from 32 to 37 degrees.

Micromax A74 Verdict

A good handset for the price, it also gives a premium feel – in fact some might mistaken it to be a Nokia handset. This handset competes with the XOLO A500S, hardware is the same but little difference like A74 is with 4.5 inch screen and A500S with 4 inch. A74 comes with 1500 mAh battery and A500S with 1400 mAh. MC4 game play is better on A74. If you look at the price the XOLO is a little cheaper.

Overall Canvas Fun A74 is very good budget smartphone with a comfortable price tag (ignore the camera). It is definitely better than the Micromax A113 and much cheaper.

iBerry Auxus Nuclea N1 latest Firmware ROM update

iBerry has officially rolled out a firmware update that fixes most of the issues found on the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N1 handset when it was initially launched. Here is a brief review of the same handset with the ROM update.

The new ROM update is more stable and gives a better performance as compared to what we have seen on the initial version.

The new ROM comes with default icons and is hardly customized, thankfully the launcher app (iBerry customized) that made the system unstable has been removed. The Auxus Nuclea N1 comes powered by 1.5GHz MT6589T quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. There is 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The screen is 5 inches with Full HD resolution.

Let’s compare the benchmark scores
Benchmark tool            Old ROM                                         New ROM
Quadrant                      4801                                                5665
Antutu                         10228                                               14632
Vellamo                        HTML5 (1547) Metal (515)              HTML5 (1563) Metal (516)
Nenamark2                   34.3 fps                                           34.1 fps

As you can see there is a good improvement. The performance is smooth – the best way to check it was, by playing some high end games. I tried the Dead Trigger in high graphics mode and the MC4 or Modern Combat 4 both of these worked well. There is a very mild lag (at times) when playing the MC4 game probably because the game is installed on the external SD card (class 4). The handset does get heated up (when playing games for a longer period) which I believe is normal. Battery life seems to have improved.

To install the Nuclea N1 firmware update just head on to iBerry Facebook page.
